It is for these reasons that Pokhara College of Technology was established in 2000 AD by a devoted group of professionals and academicians, and has produced bachelors of information technology, who have been absorbed within the country and abroad. Reflections of their performance from various areas of the society make the college happy for of its academic attempts to provide the students with quality education, a demand of the time.

A scholar without the knowledge of computer is "a man without eyes." The application of computer education ranges from kitchen to office, school to university, trade to research, and land to space. So, PCT endeavored to offer education in computer application and its Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) has become a leading program in the country.

Global commercialization and industrialization has necessitated the study of business administration. Keeping this in view, the college has started Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program as well. The program is gaining popularity among the students, parents and social communities of concerning sectors.

BBA in association with BCA makes the study more practicable and effective. The areas of higher study from BBA and BCA to the extent of interest of the students may coincide somewhere resulting into versatile IT- Management interdependency. The college expresses satisfaction over its wider academic goals as the students, parents and social communities have shown their moderate affection to BCA and BBA studies at this college.
